Ceiling formwork and formwork tables are among the most widely used systems on construction sites – and this is precisely where we offer rapid availability, robust quality and flexible solutions for a wide range of ceiling heights and load requirements. Our systems are designed to speed up processes and make the best use of staff resources.
High speed of implementation
Ceiling tables enable large-area formwork to be installed in a single operation – ideal for projects with tight deadlines and high quality standards.
Sturdy systems for every building site
Whether it’s traditional ceiling formwork or large-format ceiling tables: our systems offer reliable load-bearing capacity and are robustly constructed to withstand day-to-day use on construction sites.
Flexibility in terms of heights and geometries
Thanks to modular props, crossbeams and tables, the system adapts to different ceiling heights, floor plans and load requirements – even with complex geometries.
For typical floor slabs and standard floor plans.
For industrial or exceptional load requirements.
For flats, interior fit-outs and areas with a high degree of repetition.
Modular system solutions with defined frames and beams.

No. The choice of ceiling formwork depends on the ceiling thickness, span, required load-bearing capacity and floor plan geometry. For standard ceilings, lightweight beam formwork with H20-Trägern is usually sufficient; for large spans, high-ceilinged rooms or heavy-duty industrial slabs, you’ll need heavy-duty props and a system designed accordingly. The desired quality of the exposed concrete also influences the choice of formwork facing. If you’re unsure, we’ll put together the right system for you, including props and accessories, tailored to your specific project.
Our range of formwork will show you which system is right for your ceiling – or we can advise you directly.
System formwork consists of interlocking modules – beams, props, formwork heads and panels – which can be erected and dismantled quickly, with consistent repeatability and minimal waste. They are ideal for uniform floor plans and tight schedules. Traditional beam formwork systems made from H20-Trägern and formwork sheeting can be freely combined, making them more flexible for irregular shapes, sloping floor plans or varying ceiling heights. In practice, many companies combine both approaches. The same principle applies to walls – you can find the appropriate systems under ‘Wall Formwork’. We supply both variants, new and second-hand.
Yes – and that is precisely what makes them cost-effective. Beams, props and drop heads can be reused many times if handled correctly; the formwork skin is a wear part and is replaced as and when necessary. Storage, cleaning and the condition of the formwork skin are crucial to their service life. We inspect our second-hand ceiling formwork before sale – checking beams for breaks, cracks and intact end caps, and props for thread integrity and load-bearing capacity. This means you get equipment ready for use at a second-hand price.

Whenever standard props reach their limits: for large spans, thick slabs with a high fresh concrete weight, large floor-to-floor heights, or in industrial and bridge construction. Heavy-duty props and towers can support significantly higher loads and reduce the number of support points required. In this area, slab formwork borders on shoring – if you’re unsure about the load class, our load class calculator can help.
A bigger one than you might think. Drop heads allow for early formwork removal without taking down the props; tripod stands and swivel heads ensure props and beams are neatly aligned, whilst edge guards protect the ceiling at the edges. A comprehensive range of high-quality accessories is key to speed, safety and concrete quality. We supply the right used or new accessories directly with the system – simply ask us about complete sets.
You’ll find the right accessories and all the systems you need in our formwork range.
Ceiling formwork supports the fresh concrete of a floor slab until it has set and can bear its own load. They fulfil three functions simultaneously: they give the slab its shape, safely transfer the heavy weight of the fresh concrete via supports to the ground, and ensure a smooth, clean concrete surface. They are used in residential, industrial and commercial construction – from detached houses to wide-span hall ceilings. At CETRAC, you can get certified second-hand and new systems for up to 70% less than new, available immediately from our Leipzig warehouse.
