For standard slabs, lightweight beam formwork with H20 beams is usually sufficient; for large spans, high rooms or heavy industrial slabs you need heavy-duty props and a correspondingly designed system. System formwork consists of coordinated modules - beams, props, drop heads and panels - that can be erected and dismantled quickly, with repeat accuracy and little waste. It is ideal for uniform floor plans and tight cycles. Classic beam formwork made of H20 beams and formwork facing can be combined freely, making it more flexible for special shapes, angled floor plans or varying slab heights. Yes - and that is exactly what makes it economical. Beams, props and drop heads last many uses when treated properly; the formwork facing is a wearing part and is replaced when needed. Storage, cleaning and the condition of the facing are decisive for service life. We inspect our second-hand slab formwork before sale - beams for breaks, cracks and intact end caps, props for thread condition and load-bearing capacity. This way you get ready-to-use material at a second-hand price.
