Why buy second-hand PERI systems from us?
We specialise in offering you second-hand PERI formwork and scaffolding that are technically sound, workshop-inspected and immediately ready for your next job.
Buying new material often means long delivery times and high investment costs. With our second-hand range we offer you the perfect alternative:
- Huge price advantage: Save significantly on the list price without giving up proven PERI quality.
- Immediate availability: While manufacturers often have lead times, our second-hand PERI stock is usually available straight away.
- Sustainability: Reusing robust steel and aluminium material conserves resources and helps your balance sheet.
- Inspected safety: Every element is checked by us for distortion, functionality and load-bearing capacity.
Our second-hand PERI highlights
1. PERI TRIO wall formwork (second-hand)
The TRIO is probably the most-used frame formwork in the world. It is robust, simply constructed and forgives rough treatment on site.
- Your advantage: Second-hand TRIO elements can easily be mixed with your existing stock.
- Condition: We stock various grades – from “site-ready, use straight away” to “re-faced” with high-quality formwork facings.
2. PERI MAXIMO
The system with single-sided anchoring technology. Second-hand, the MAXIMO is particularly profitable, as you combine the enormous time savings when shuttering with a low purchase price.
3. PERI MULTIPROP floor props
MULTIPROP aluminium props are light and have a very high load capacity. Second-hand they are a real bestseller, as unlike steel props they do not rust and hold their value extremely well.
4. PERI UP scaffolding systems
Whether as a modular scaffold or stair tower – the PERI UP system is known for its enormous flexibility. We offer second-hand standards, ledgers and decks for your individual requirements.
Our quality promise for second-hand material
We do not sell “scrap material”. When you buy second-hand PERI systems from CETRAC, every part goes through our check:
- Cleaning: Concrete residues are professionally removed.
- Straightening: Deformed frames are professionally repaired.
- Function test: Locks, bolts and threads must move freely.
- Facing service: On request we supply second-hand frames with completely new facing (e.g. phenolic resin or plastic).
“Buying second-hand from us means: start straight away instead of waiting – while protecting your budget.”
FAQ: frequently asked questions about second-hand PERI formwork
Yes, absolutely. One of PERI’s biggest advantages is its consistent system continuity: grid, lock and anchor dimensions have remained unchanged for years. A second-hand TRIO panel from 2015 can therefore be combined with brand-new elements without any problems. This lets you expand your stock step by step without having to buy a completely new system.
If you are unsure which components fit together, we will check compatibility with you before purchase. You will find an overview of all systems in our formwork overview, an alternative are the Doka formwork systems.
That depends on what your project demands – which is exactly why we offer several quality grades. The formwork facing is a classic wearing part: for secondary components, second-hand facing with visible signs of use is often perfectly sufficient. For fair-faced concrete or demanding surfaces, we re-face the frames with first-class panels on request.
This way you only pay for the quality you really need. Every element is inspected before sale – the steel frames themselves are robust and durable, and we simply replace the facing when needed. With wall formwork too, you decide on the right surface quality.
Hiring pays off mainly for short, one-off jobs. But as soon as a project runs longer or you need formwork regularly, second-hand material often amortises after the second or third use. Instead of ongoing hire costs, you build up your own assets that retain real resale value – PERI systems in particular hold their value very well on the second-hand market.
Whether buying or hiring pays off in your case can be worked out quickly with our “buy or hire” comparison. You can determine the actual material requirements for your project directly in the EasyFlow configurator.
